Explore the Cava country and visit famous Montserrat!

Visit the spectacular Monastery on top of mount Montserrat and explore the Cava country of Catalunya (Cava is the Catalan version of the French Champagne).

We offer 2 options for tours to Montserrat from Barcelona: Half day visit to Montserrat only (5 hours), and full day visit to Montserrat and Cava/Winery (8 hours).

We will begin the day by meeting you at your hotel, the cruise pier, or the airport. From there, we will make our way to visit the famous Mount Montserrat and on the full day tour we will also drive through the country of Catalonia to see and learn about Cava making. Step by step we will discover the secrets of Catalonia’s national drink – the Cava – and of course you can have a chance to sample the outcome… don’t worry – the driver will only have coffee…

On the way to Montserrat we will enjoy a safe and comfortable ride, as well as great views along the way up the mountain.

When we reach the top, like thousands of pilgrims before, you will be touched and inspired as you explore the magnificent mountain and its spectacular rock formations. Learn about the legend of the Black Virgin and enjoy a performance by the “La Escolanía”, which is the oldest children’s choir in Europe (if available).

We will show you all the interesting points in & around the Park and will reveal the interesting history behind this impressive site. You can choose whether you want to take the funicular railway, do some walking on your own, shop for local cheese & jam, or just take in the amazing views for a little longer.

We will return to the city in the afternoon.
